Cosmic Energy Rising by Lauren Oland

Cosmic Energy Rising by guest artist Lauren Oland of Mezamé Designs is based on one of her fabulous hand-woven textiles. The original piece is 6 feet long by 2 feet wide — the exact dimensions of a Big Raven Yoga mat! It only made sense to give everyone an opportunity to experience her work (without her having to hand-weave hundreds of individual mats!)

Lauren wove this piece to create feelings of calmness and invigoration. She used her favorite colors and textures and created a piece that brings together some of the most dynamic and difficult elements of textile art.
