This beautifully crafted glass necklace is made of Venetian glass, produced on the island of Murano near Venice, Italy. Venetian glassmaking was documented as early as 982 A.D., a tradition of over a thousand years. The beads are formed from Millefiori (or thousand flowers) glass canes, melted and shaped individually.
